Double Baby

If you give a baby girl a double first name, should you give them a middle name too?

Say you’re planning on giving your future baby girl the first name “Mary Haven” or “Mary Claire”, should you also give them a separate middle name? For example, say I name my baby Mary Haven. Should her full name include another name such as Elizabeth after Haven? Or should Haven be considered the middle name?

It’s whatever you prefer. I personally like a middle name in addition to the double first name, but then I also like multiple middle names. I feel like there is a special quality to middle names that, because they aren’t usually used and most people won’t know it (unless you tell them), a middle name is a special secret one carries with them.

I love double names. I like the name Maewyn Persephone Grace for a girl (one first name, two middles), but with an everyday name of Maggie Grace.
